Welcome to the "My SMART Class" blog site. This is an alternative platform to connect and deepen student's learning that is happening inside or outside the orthodox classroom environment. It intends to complement the usual classroom activities to engage learners in an authentic learning strategy to discuss, explore, share, and exchange ideas and concepts as they are covered and discussed in this online e-learning environment.
Student's in this blogsite are encouraged and expected to become self-determined learners since the strategies that will be employed in this class will emphasize the development of autonomy, capacity, and capability. Putting a premium on "heutagogy" a self-determined learner is a self-directed learner, thus it is expected that an adult "SMART Learner" in this class should acquire both the desired competencies and capabilities as we all look into the "new normal" and "new future" given the pace of innovation as well as the changing and challenging structure of educational communities and workplaces.
This platform aims to further develop lifelong and life-wide learners in the Bataan Peninsula State University - Graduate School to be able to produce learners who are well-prepared in the VUCA-D (volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous, and disruptive) world of learning institutions.
